After having a week off from competition, the Hebron Eagles and Lady Eagles return to the basketball court to tip off the second half of the season Thursday night.
Both the girls and boys teams will take on regional rival MAIS Class AAA Heritage Academy at home. Games are slated for 4 pm.
The Lady Eagles have had this game marked on their calenders since the season opening loss to the same Lady Patriots by 10-points. Hebron had Heritage on the ropes for the majority of the ball game as Rachel Hollivay and Tori Nichols battled in the crease all game long.
West Point was handed their third consecutive loss Tuesday night. And at 5-10, itâs tough to really tell how well the season is going.
âWe still havenât put it all together, and weâre still not playing as good as we should have,â head coach Brad Cox said. âBut weâre very close. The record looks a lot worse than it really is.â
The Green Wave lost a heartbreaker, 52-49 on the road at Louisville. Itâs their first game back since December 20.
Leading 23-21 at the half, the Green Wave found themselves down six points in the first two minutes of the third quarter and really never recovered.
