Dozens of future Green Wave turned out this week for a three-day youth football camp hosted by West Point High School.
Athletes, ranging from ages 7 and up, had individual and group sessions with players and coaches from the football program. But it wasn’t all about football.
“It was a great turnout, especially with the youth aged campers,” varsity running backs coach Josh Pulphus said. “They received a lot of instruction about academics, being good role models for other students and trying to stay humble.”
