Aria Lou Jenkins Ray, age 79, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Hospice in His Hands of Madden, Miss.
Aria Lou Jenkins Ray was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Choctaw County, Miss. She was a member of Salem Independent Methodist Church near Ackerman, Miss.
Funeral services are today, Friday, May 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Salem Independent Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time.

Lonnie D. McGregory Jr., age 75, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Trace Regional Hospital in Houston, Miss.
Funeral services are today, Friday, May 6, 2011, at 1 p.m. from New Prospect M.B. Church, with Pastor Tyrone Orr officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect M.B. Church Cemetery.

Barbara Gene Smith, age 61, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Darlington Oaks Hospice.
Barbara Gene Smith was born July 7, 1949, to Emmanuel Crump and Annie Mae Crump and was a native of Aberdeen, Miss. She was a Bail Bondsman.
Funeral services are Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 1 p.m. from Third Mt. Olive M.B. Church, with the Rev. Al Lathan officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Visitation is today, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.
Navistar Defense of West Point got another huge delivery order Thursday from the United States Marine Corps Systems Command, which is helping workers there maintain there jobs and is boosting the economy of West Point.
Navistar received a $183 million delivery order for 250 International® MaxxPro® Dash ambulances with DXM™ independent suspension, which is being included in Navistar’s existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. This order is Navistar’s ninth major MRAP variant.
