Errors and walks doomed the West Point Green Wave baseball team on Tuesday night. The club traveled to Oxford to take on the Chargers for the first time of three games in 2011’s regular season.
Coming off a split with New Hope, the Green Wave were hoping to get off to a good start against Oxford, but things went bad early, as 14 walks and eight errors contributed to an 11-2 loss on the night.
“The difference in the game was walks and errors,” said West Point head coach Buddy Wyers.
