For many people, Spring Break means a much-needed rest from work or even athletics. For the West Point Diamond Wave team, the week-long holiday will include some much-needed games.
Thanks to a series of rain storms, West Point’s baseball games have been rained out over the last week. The team is hoping to make up ground over Spring Break in order to be prepared for their first district game on March 22 against Saltillo.
“We need to play in a bad way,” said head coach Buddy Wyers on Wednesday.
