The only playoff loss for the Hebron Christian Lady Eagles in 2011 was to Sharkey-Issaquena, a team out of the Delta, on Saturday.
The Lady Eagles will get a chance to rebound against another team from that region today, when they face the girls of Delta Academy.
Hebron faces Delta after one of its best defensive battles of the season against Newton on Monday. The Lady Eagles prevailed 45-22 in that game.
The Lady Eagles allowed four points in the first, seven in the second, six in the third and five in the fourth to Newton’s offense.

The West Point Green Wave boys showed what they are made of on Tuesday night. Playing down for most of regulation during their bout with the Gentry Rams, West Point embarked on a gutsy fourth quarter performance that pushed the game into an overtime quarter.
Unfortunately for the Green Wave, the Rams refocused and took the North State playoff game 72-60.
“They never quit,” said West Point head coach Brad Cox. “They could have gotten down on themselves and given up, but they never did.”
