Ginger D. Bryan was born Dec. 10, 1978, in Columbus, to Glenda Jean Sanders Dedeaux and Gary Douglas Dedeaux. She was a Sales Clerk for Gary's Pawn and Gun and most recently worked as a U. S. Mail Carrier. She was of the Baptist faith.

James C. Belk, age 85, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Community Hospice Inc. of Verona.
Funeral services are Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at noon from St. Paul M.B. Church, with the Rev. Eddie Longstreet officiating. Burial will follow in memorial gardens.
Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

MABEN - Despite a season high for Tori Nichols, Hebron's five game winning streak was snapped Monday night following a 52-46 loss to East Webster.
The Lady Eagles, 8-6 had a tough time adjusting to the height difference early in the ball-game, but that didn't keep them from finding the basket. However they still trailed by four at the half.
West Point's early exit from the playoffs hasn't stopped several Green Wave from earning postseason honors in 2011. This week, four Green Wave were named to the Class 5A MHSAA All-State team as chosen by the coaches.
Senior Romia Wilson, who was also selected to represent in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game earned his his second post season honor after being named to First-Team Offense.
