The Green Wave could return home the day after Thanksgiving to play either New Hope or Ridgeland in the North half championship game. The only thing standing in their way of defending that title is the Oxford Chargers.
Right now, the Green Wave players and coaches are not even thinking about Thanksgiving week. Their minds are on tonightâ€™s game that will feature an 11-1 West Point team that finished 7-0 in district play against a Chargers team that finished the season 9-3 and 5-2 in league action.

The Hebron Christian Eagles and Lady Eagles have both had a week to rest since their bouts with Carroll Academy last Thursday night.
Tonight, the two Hebron teams will go at it for a second night in a row, this time taking on division rival Winona in back-to-back games this evening.
Last week, the Lady Eagles got off to a great start on the young season, taking down the Lady Volunteers of Starkville, followed by a big win over the Lady Rebels.
Clarence Speed, age 57, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services are today, Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Union Baptist M.B. Church, with the Rev. Mike Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist M.B. Church Cemetery.
Carter's Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements.
