The Hebron Christian Eagles (1-5; 0-1) were hoping that last week's bye would better prepare them for their first conference match, at Central Holmes (3-4; 1-1).
The last time Hebron took the field, two weeks ago, they were defeated 46-12 by the Oak Hill Raiders.
That made it back-to-back home losses for Hebron. In both weeks, they gave up 46 points, the other to Benton.
Central Holmes got on the board in the first quarter on a scoring drive, capped off by a 26 yard touchdown run by Corvell Dixon.

The Oak Hill Academy Raiders (2-5; 1-0) had three turnovers in Friday night’s non-league home game against the Raiders of Lamar (4-2), but those mistakes did not factor much in what would eventually be a 56-14 beating of Oak Hill.
Lamar was already up 28-0 when Conner Baird’s second quarter pass was tipped and intercepted for the home Raiders’ first give away of the game. Oak Hill’s mistakes centered around their tackling game.

Oak Hill may be 0-5 in non-league action this year, but where it counts, they are sitting with a 1-0 record, one win from a playoff spot.
As bad as Friday night’s 56-21 beating by Larmar was, the Raiders could be in a good place by next Friday, when they travel to take on Manchester Academy (0-5)
